Freddie’s Italian Restaurant
Not only voted “Best Restaurant” in Kure Beach but they were also recognized in Encore magazine as one of Cape Fear’s best, multiple years in a row. Their menu flows from fine wines to pasta, local catches, and select steaks, to their extravagant selection of pork chops and specialty salads and desserts. Though it may not be the best option for large gatherings as dining space is limited, it is a perfect place to take the family for a divine treat while vacationing in one of our Kure beach vacation rentals. While we all love supporting local favorites when we are on vacation, Happy Hippies KEEPS smiles on our locals’ faces year-round. This eclectic, one-of-a-kind, locally-loved coffee hot spot is one you cannot miss while you’re vacationing at Kure Beach. The menu is cram-packed with mouthwatering coffee-shop favorites, hot and iced. They also feature lots of locally baked treats, smoothies, teas, healthy snacks, and great gifts and souvenirs to take home with you from your vacation. This is a great stop to make before gearing up for some of the best kid-friendly activities in Carolina Beach!
