In order to cancel a reservation, the registered guest will need to submit a request to cancel in writing to Network Real Estate. Once we receive the written request, we will open up the dates to be re-rented. A refund of money paid, less a 25% administrative fee will be made ONLY if the property is re-rented. Any approved refunds will be issued after the reservation dates have passed. If the dates are not re-rented for the cancelled period, no monies will be refunded.
We do offer Trip Interruption insurance through Generali Global Assistance. This can be purchased at the time of booking. Every rental home is cleaned after each guest(s) departure. We require our cleaners to use CDC approved cleaning products. Your rental will be clean and in good repair when you arrive. If you find your rental is not clean, it must be reported to our office within 1 hour of check–in. Otherwise, you accept the unit in the condition you found it. Any damages should be reported immediately upon check in. Late arrivals should call the next business day to report any cleaning concerns.

To Check In, you will come to our office, Network Real Estate, 1029 North Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC to pick up your keys and facility passes. Check in is between 3 – 5pm. If you will be arriving after 5pm, you will need to call or email ahead of time to receive late arrival instructions. We are unable to facilitate early check-ins.
Check-Out is by 10am sharp. Failure to check-out and return keys and parking passes to our office by 10:00am on the day of your departure will result in a $100 per hour additional charge. Cleaning crews will arrive at 10am to begin cleaning. It is very important that you adhere to this check out time so that we can prepare the rental for our next guests. We are unable to extend check out times. If you are checking out at a time when our office is closed, there is a drop box on the right-hand side of our office building to leave keys and facility passes.

As of summer 2023 some of our properties are now including linens! Please refer to the amenities per property to see which ones include linen’s with the reservation. This is not something that is offered with all properties, but we do offer linen rentals through Network Real Estate if the property you select does not include them. The linen rental form is available on the last page of the rental agreement that will need to be completed upon making your reservation. Each sheet set comes with 2 towels, 2 hand towels and 2wash cloths (one set person). Beach towels can also be rented in packs of four!

If you need to change your reservation dates after your booking has been confirmed, a fee of $149 (per occurrence) will be applied to your reservation. The new dates must be during the same calendar year as your original booking dates. Reservations cannot be transferred to a different rental property.

Network Real Estate does offer Trip Insurance through a third-party company, Generali Global Assistance. This is an optional insurance that protects you and your travel investment if you need to cancel your trip (for covered reasons) or if other covered unforeseen circumstances arise during your trip. If you do not purchase this insurance, no refunds will be made for any situation including storms, hurricanes, and sickness (our normal cancelation policy will apply). Network Real Estate offers Vacation Rental Damage Insurance. The cost of coverage is $45, and non-refundable. The policy does not cover acts that are intentional or due to gross negligence, willful conduct, or any cause if guest fails to report the damage/loss before departure from the unit. Theft or damage of any property owned by or brought onto the premises by a guest is not covered under this waiver. Network Real Estate will not be able to issue a refund if you choose to cancel your stay due to Covid related closures such as pools, beaches, or any other public/private facility restrictions. Network Real Estate is not responsible or liable for any of these types of possible closures or any other circumstances outside of Network Real Estate’s control. Our normal cancellation policy will apply.

If you make your reservation on our website you will make your down payment via credit card at the time of booking. Within a few days of booking your online reservation you will receive a confirmation email from Network Real Estate that will include credentials to access your guest portal. From there you will make payments on your reservation. You can login to the guest portal here:

If you book your reservation over the phone you will have the option to make a payment through the guest portal or you can mail in a check or money order. All down payments must be paid no later than 7 days after booking.
Final Payments are due 30 days prior to arrival. They can be made through the guest portal via credit card. Alternatively, you can mail a check or money order.

Once you’ve made you’re initial payment/deposit you may submit the remaining balance in the form of a check or money order if needed. Personal checks will not be accepted if arrival date is less than 30 days away. Cash is not accepted.

When booking a reservation on our website; a 50% down payment of the rental rate and the premium for any insurance premiums selected (if you choose to purchase insurance) must be paid at the time of booking. Your final balance including linens, security deposit, etc, is due within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date.
When booking a reservation with a Network Real Estate representative over the phone, your down payment will be due no later than 7 days after booking. The down payment will be a 50% down payment of the rental rate and the premium for any insurance premiums selected (if you choose to purchase insurance). Your final balance including linens, security deposit, etc, is due within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date.

Yes! – Most likely. If you book a reservation with Network Real Estate at the last minute, you will be required to pay the balance of your reservation in full at the time of booking. If the reservation is made over the phone with a Network representative, you will need to immediately login to the guest portal to e-sign your rental agreement and pay the balance.

Community pools are not open year round. These dates will fall between the months of May (opening) and September (closing) and will be determined by the HOA. Please confirm openings and closures with the Rental Department at Network Real Estate.

Some of our rentals are pet friendly. The pet policy is strictly for Dogs only. Each pet friendly home has its own pet policy which will be stated in the property description. Some pet friendly accommodations have weight restrictions. No aggressive breeds are allowed. Contact us directly if you have a question about your dog. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $150. Each town has its own policy about dogs on the beach, see below for more details.

Restrictions include; NO fish cleaning inside of your rental, NO grilling on porches or decks, NO campers/RV’s, boats, trailers, GOLF CARTS or 4 wheelers. If bringing a trailer of any kind you will be required to secure your own parking. Condominiums prohibit any parking of trailers, or golf carts.

Parking in Carolina Beach and Kure Beach is very limited. Please be sure to refer each individual property description for parking details or contact us to inquire how many spaces are available and what is permitted. Yes, Network Real Estate’s policy requires that the registered guest must be 25 years of age or older, and must be residing in the rental for the entire stay.
A:
Yes. During peak season, some of our rental properties have a three-night minimum and some do require full week bookings from Saturday to Saturday. During the off season these many of our rentals allow reservations for 2 or 3 nights.
